“Not Just an ordinary garden centre”

We’ll be holding our annual Strawberry Fayre on the last weekend in June at Chesters Grove garden centre in Chester-le-street, County Durham.

The fayre on Saturday and Sunday has approximately 40 craft stalls, Kiddies Funfair, an old fashioned Italian Wurlitzer like Band- Wagon, not to mention Strawberry Teas and all the other garden centre plants and garden furniture etc. We’re also looking for any school bands or soloists that would like to play on our open stage in the marquee during the daytime.

This year on the Friday evening Chesters Grove will also be holding a Ceilidh night with local international band “Monster Ceilidh Band” who will lead you through the steps in the huge outdoor marquee.

On Saturday night local Theatre Group “Dryburn Theatricalworkshop” will be performing “Midsummer Music,” an evening of solos and group numbers including songs from “The Little Shop of Horrors“, which they will be performing at Park View Theatre complex from Wednesday 9th June.
