Alpine Rhodohypoxis plants for sale in County Durham

Here at Chesters Grove Garden Centre in County Durham, we have a fabulous selection of Alpines available. One of our best kept Apline secrets is ‘Rhodohypoxis’, locally grown here in the north east, the small, rootstock produce an abundance of beautiful flat pink flowers to 10cm high. Hardy outside in drier areas but need to be sheltered from excessive winter rainfall whilst they are dormant, in a free draining, rich lime free soil. They give a beautiful succession of flowers from early May throughout summer. In wet areas we would recommend growing in pots, protected through winter dormancy in a cold greenhouse. Here at Chesters Grove we just love em! those tiny pink flowers are so gorgeous! Small plants are only £3.00 each!
